Growing up on a farm in Illinois, gives you a different perspective in life. While most people go to work and then get paid, we on the other hand would work an entire crop season and weather permitting, make some money that year. Everyone had a job on the family farm and you just learned to work hard, be honest and save your money for the years your crops didn't yield income. Everyone helped out a neighbor if they needed it. We all tried to be friendly and kind to one another and your handshake was all you needed for your commitment.

These are the foundations of character I then took with me when I left home for college. Iowa State University was the setting in which the whole world and its' opportunities would open up for me. I discovered my love for adventure by traveling the U.S. on a motorcycle, jumping out of perfectly good airplanes...over 300 times, and downhill skiing to name just a few. After obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Economics, I then entered the corporate world and continued my pursuit for knowledge with an MBA in Business Management from Golden Gate University. After 16 years, I found myself "downsized" out of a job. It was a blessing in disguise.

The dream of owning your own business and being your own boss can only be a successful experience with the right ingredients. Like the perfect recipe, you can only succeed if you follow the directions of those who have succeeded before you. With a foundation of good character, a thirst for knowledge, and a heart for helping others, it was with passion I pursued the mortgage industry. Obtaining a CMPS (Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist) certification is just one of many ways I have continued my education to serve others.

As a resident of Temecula since 1993, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and other service organizations in the area, fulfilling my need to serve in our community. A commitment to building life long relationships with clients, their friends and family is the core foundation of my business practice. Getting a loan should not be like acquiring a common commodity. As a Mortgage Planning Consultant you are getting a service that is multifaceted, offering tools and information to assist you in your long term investing, tax planning and financial needs. Along with a knowledge base in business, my personal experience of investing in real estate and diverse opportunities is generously shared with my clients as my dream is to help others make their own dreams become a reality.

On a personal note, my beautiful wife, Marsha and I have spent over 20 years together sharing the same dreams and goals. While she is busy raising our three wonderful children and running a busy household, she also finds time to help out in our office. Many of our clients and associates call her the "fun" side of our business while I will always remain the dedicated "serious" side.
